A Thanksgiving Invitation: Serving Up Hope this Holiday

Transform invites you to help create warm hearts and full bellies this Thanksgiving season. This year, Transform’s outreach center expects to serve upwards of 300 traditional Thanksgiving meals to our neighbors experiencing homelessness and poverty.

“Hope and compassion are on the menu, too,” says Transform Director Greg Henken. “The need is growing. And so is the opportunity to show the love of Jesus. Come and join us. We will serve meals both the Wednesday before and the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We hope to see you there, whether you plan on helping out or digging in.”

Help Out: Serve food, clean tables, and welcome guests.

Transform’s outreach center exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through word and action. The center hosts services that help each guest meet their basic needs. In 2021, the nonprofit organization served over 10,000 meals in the cafeteria and provided 3,500 trips each to the food and clothing banks. Volunteers donated more than 6,000 hours of their time to make this possible. No experience is necessary to assist. Everyone is welcome!
