Encouragement from the Dugout

Coach Jonny Locher had his team ready to show that they could dish out as well as they took it. After a tough 19-0 loss earlier this week, the team bounced back strongly.

Solid pitching by Cameron Keller and a series of 1 and 2-run innings to start the game set up the massive ten-run sixth inning. Gus Schafer, Emilio Flores-Delgado, Marquawn McCraney, Trenton Savage, Ronan Rasmussen, and Schafer each drove in runs during the inning.

Highline Pirates Varsity tallied ten runs in the first sixth innings with consistent singles, doubles, and good baserunning that capitalized on Renton’s errors and five stolen bases.
