The Argosy Christmas ship schedule for November and December 2023 is now posted. The season starts on Friday, November 24, and concludes on December 23.
VIEWING:
Here are the closest locations in the Highline area where people can watch from shore at no cost:
Friday, November 24 – 5:35 to 5:55 pm, Don Armeni Park at the north end of West Seattle.
Saturday, November 25 – 5:35 to 5:55 pm, Salty’s Restaurant at the north end of West Seattle.
Saturday, November 25 – 8:35 to 8:55 pm, Alki Beach Park, West Seattle.
CRUISING:
If you want to ride on the boat, the closest departure is from Renton on Friday, December 1. There are two sailings that evening.
Nearly all sailings this year are on Lake Washington or Lake Union; there are just a few on Puget Sound (example, Olympic Sculpture Park, Carkeek Park, and a few others).
I have fond memories of seeing the ship at Redondo Beach in Des Moines. Hopefully some year the Christmas Ship will have performances again in the South Sound.
