Hope Christian Community Hosts Burien Boo Craft and Game Booth

by Mary Welch

Hope Christian Community returned to Burien Boo with their popular Craft & Game Booth this year.

190 children enjoyed assembling and decorating scripture-themed Tea-Light Lanterns. Hundreds more lined up to test their skills at the “Pumpkin Toss” and age-appropriate Basketball Hoops. Everyone received a prize! We seek to provide an alternative to the sometimes dark and scary themes of the holiday.

“*JESUS* the Light in the Darkness”- is conveyed on the back wall, and all candy, prizes, and crafts. As a church, we know that we have an important role in the life of our community. We appreciate the opportunity to participate and connect with our neighborhood to bring a message of love and hope to Burien.
