Stephanie Tidholm Takes Lead in Highline School District Position 1 Primary

Stephanie Tidholm took a 563 vote lead over runner-up Michael Lewis in the August 1 primary race for Highline School District Position 1. In the closest race of the primaries affecting Burien and the Highline District, Tidholm with 36%, Lewis with 32%, and Loren Dugan with 27% is one to watch. Dugan has an uphill battle to overtake Lewis, but the next two drops may close the 607 vote difference.
