Reminder: Boulevard Park Community Meeting is Tonight

Below is a message from the City of Burien:

City of Burien is planning for the future of parks, recreation, and public art in your neighborhood

Do you live in Boulevard Park? Boulevard Park community members are invited to a discussion hosted by the City of Burien about how to improve parks, recreation, and public art in the Boulevard Park neighborhood over the next 20 years.

As part of the City’s Shape Your City “Stories and Strategies” phase of community engagement, the City is seeking to build upon ideas for the Boulevard Park neighborhood generated during last year’s visioning phase of Shape Your City, the Ambaum and Boulevard Park Community Plan, and initial community engagement related to Hilltop Park. We hope that you will come with ideas or to help brainstorm new ideas with your neighbors.

WHEN: May 10, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
WHERE: Boulevard Park Library Community Room, 12015 Roseberg Ave S, Burien, WA 98168
DETAILS: Snacks will be provided. Stipends will be available to community members requiring compensation for participation.
RSVP: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BLVDparkRSVP

If you cannot make it to this in-person discussion group, please provide comments online about parks, recreation, trails and public art through this online map and series of short surveys.

The City is also seeking input on the Comprehensive Plan including housing needs and transportation priorities.  Feel free to engage with these online tools as well to support the city’s Shape Your City planning efforts.
