Let’s Work Together!
Hello community of Burien – Residents, Businesses & Building Owners!
What a week!
Burien is about to get their own “Summer of Love!”
Burien mayor says downtown homeless encampment is a ‘work in progress’

How is this OUR problem? Yet another example of the failure of city leadership. You can almost see their feet out the door – Sofia Aragon to try a run at King County Council, Kevin Schilling with his sights on greener pastures using Burien as a jumpstart, union dollars invested in City of Burien Council elections? Follow the $$$$
We need a FULL HOUSE for this MONDAY’S May 1 Council Meeting: Burien says NO to another Summer of Love!
Ways to Participate:

SIGN UP TO SPEAK IN PERSON:

Email: You can provide a public comment in advance by sending an email to cityclerk@burienwa.gov
We need to overwhelm the City of Burien with public comments – please sign up now via this link: https://citydocs.burienwa.gov/Forms/PublicComments
By signing up ahead of time, we have the room. The delays and can kicking by City Council and City Leadership is a purposeful stall tactic. They want to wear us out!
Spend a few minutes listening to local activist Glen Morgan. It is easy to see why people are afraid to speak up……

As a member of the Burien community, I find it appalling the number of tents is growing. What is your plan Burien? Promoting illegal drug use, vandalism, and squatting is NOT in Burien’s best interests.
EMAIL THE Business and Economic Development Partnership:

If you would like to cut and paste this statement and email:
Remove the tents now! #BurienSaysEnough! A Summer of Love is not business friendly. What is the BEDP doing to ask city leadership to stop the madness?
