Pirates Advance to 6-4 with Win Over Renton

Jonny Locher’s Highline Baseball team defeated Renton High 5-0 in a home-field match. The game was called after two innings. A Renton player was injured in the bottom of the 2nd inning. The play did not resume, and the game was called.

Zennin Luiz hits for a Single in the 2nd Inning

Cameroon Keller earned the win, pitching a 2-inning, one-hit shutout. Keller dispatched 3 batters on strikeouts; he was highly efficient, throwing 26 pitches, 20 for strikes.

The Pirates once again were aggressive in their base running with five steals in the game. Trenton Savage led the way with 2 stolen bases.

The Pirates play an away game at Silas Thursday at 1:00 PM. Their next home game is Monday the 10th at 3:30 against Lindbergh.
