Holiday Update
Dear Readers,
This year has been quite an adventure. On June 2, 2022, thirty-five writers joined to launch Burien News Powered by The Gem of the Sound. Over these last seven months, it has been our joy to share stories about the wonderful people, businesses, coaches, gardeners, restaurants, and more that make Burien a Gem. We also have sought to speak truth to power to make this a better city and our school district better at setting students up for success.
With the Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year, and Epiphany season upon us, we are taking a break to spend time with our families, to celebrate and reflect.
Therefore this will be the last posting until mid-January 2023. Please feel free to continue to email story ideas and tips.
