Highline Virtual Listening Session Tonight (Monday 6pm Oct 17) via Zoom

This October, Superintendent Duran and the Highline School Board directors began listening to the community about what is most important to them for the new Strategic Plan.

The “in-person” session comments have been powerful and enlightening.  So far they have been very impactful.  (See the previous Gem of the Sound articles that summarize the meetings.)

The first (of two) virtual sessions by Zoom and the first is tonight (Monday, October 17th) at 6pm-7pm. Click here to join the conference meeting and let your voice be heard!
Passcode: HPS101722

If this does not connect, go to HighlineSchools.org and scroll to the bottom of the page for the Zoom link.

This is also your opportunity to ask questions about the $518 million Bond (Proposition 1) on the November 8th ballot.  The intention is to rebuild Tyee HS, Evergreen HS and Pacific MS.

Including tonight’s event, dates for the upcoming meetings are:

  • October 17, 6:00-7:00 p.m., Virtual (all regions)
  • November 1, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Mount Rainier High School – District 5, Director Hagos
  • November 3, 6:00-7:00 p.m., Virtual (all regions)
